Olivia Memmi

Events Officer

My name is Olivia and I am a third year student in (BA) Business and Management with Spanish.

I studied economics and social sciences for three years and then chose to develop practical skills with a business degree.

As a French-American student in the UK, I hope to bring a different perspective and new opportunities to the society; as well as encouraging the participation of international students.

My business experience includes working as a retail intern in Paris. With the help of a network of students in England and abroad, I am also creating an online international student newspaper, Webeg2differ.

My objectives for the society this year are to organize events to promote entrepreneurial-drive at the university, support and inspire students and create new opportunities to learn and share.

   Bethan Hunt

Female Social Secretary

I'm Bethan, another Economics student of the University of Exeter Business School.

I've studied economics now for a good 6 years, giving me plenty of knowledge useful to the business world. I've successfully put my studies to practical use throughout the years. There's plenty of accountancy experience under my belt along with work experience in research, analysis and management roles in businesses in my local area. Even the government has acknowledged my economic skills by giving me an internship in the Cabinet Office in the summer of 2013. In all, I have a good background of business and economics which makes me right at home in the society.

I joined the Exeter Entrepreneurs society the second I arrived at the university and haven't looked back. As a member of the society, I have never had a shortage of interesting anecdotes; as social secretary, I shall ensure this year's members don't either.

Harry Langdon

Male Social Secretary

I am in my final year studying Business and Management, and have always been passionate about business thanks to my entrepreneurial father. I have worked at Santander Private Banking for the past two summers, where I learnt from the directors and used creativity to help the business progress.

University provides an excellent opportunity for networking, and I am going to utilise this opportunity for our members by providing social events. These events would allow them to meet entrepreneurial minded people in order to achieve their business goals.

Please feel free to contact me whenever as I am passionate about getting to know new people and helping each other achieve our goals; after all, business is largely based on networking.

I will always work very hard, whilst ensuring I party very hard too!
